These Terms govern your use of the ConTap website, services, and NFC-enabled digital business cards.
By creating an account, purchasing a ConTap card, or using any ConTap service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.
ConTap provides NFC-enabled digital business cards that connect to a personalized online profile. When someone taps your card or scans its QR code, they are taken to your ConTap profile where they can view the information you choose to share, download your contact information, and access your selected links.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your profile up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Each ConTap NFC card contains a unique identifier. Unregistered cards may be claimed by the first user who successfully registers them. Once assigned to an account, a card remains linked to that account unless transferred or reassigned through ConTap.
You retain ownership of the information, photographs, logos, and other content you upload. By uploading content, you grant ConTap permission to store and display that content as necessary to provide the service.
You are solely responsible for everything displayed on your profile, including contact information, images, social media links, websites, and any other information you choose to share.
You agree not to use ConTap to:
ConTap strives to provide reliable service, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Services may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
Because ConTap profiles are hosted online, internet access is required to view the most current profile information.
Most modern smartphones support NFC or QR code scanning, but compatibility varies by manufacturer, operating system, and device settings. ConTap cannot guarantee compatibility with every device.
Physical products purchased through ConTap are subject to our pricing and availability at the time of purchase. Unless otherwise stated, all sales are final. If your card is lost or damaged, you may be able to replace or reassign it through your account.
The ConTap name, logo, website, software, graphics, and related materials are owned by ConTap and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our content without permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ConTap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use our services, including loss of business, data, profits, or reputation.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the ConTap platform.
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of ConTap after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
